Rebecca Holland (BSc Hons, MFHT)
Clinical Director and Sports Therapist
I have always had an interest in health, exercise and sport; so working as a Sports Therapist is a role that I am very passionate about. I graduated from the University of Northampton with a 1st Class Honors Degree in Sports Therapy which is an achievement that I am very proud of. During this time, I gained 2 years of experience at Wellingborough Rugby Club; treating and rehabilitating the Men's 1st Team players back to fitness. I also gained further experience in a multi-disciplinary clinic, shadowing a range of Osteopathic treatments and implementing techniques within my field of practice. I am also a qualified Zumba Instructor, Clinical Yoga Instructor and member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
After graduating from University, I was employed by a private Sports Injury Clinic as a full time Sports Therapist. This enabled me to put my degree into practice and expand on my knowledge of injuries and treatment methods further. This valuable experience allowed me to gain a positive reputation before developing my own business, Return2You. In 2022, I was awarded Female Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year at the Global Healthcare and Pharma Awards (see official press release here).
Daniel Gullon (BSc Hons, SST)
Sports Therapist
I started out in the fitness industry back in 2002 working in Personal Training and later management roles, most recently spending several years running Burwell Community Sports Centre. I'm interested in all-things health, fitness and sports science; however, I've always been particularly enthusiastic about the treatment and management of sports injuries. I have recently received a 1st Class Honors Degree in Sport and Exercise Therapy from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
Alongside my academic work, I've spent time on placement at Cambridge University Rowing Club, in addition to seeing clients within the ARU Injury Clinic.
Outside of clinical work, I enjoy road cycling and outdoor exercise and have previous experience in football, rowing and rock climbing. I am delighted to have joined Return2You Injury, Health and Running Clinic and look forward to getting our clients back doing what they enjoy.
Emma Ward (BSc Hons, MFHT)
Sports Therapist
I have always had a passion for sport and fitness which led me to complete my Sports Therapy degree in 2009 from University College Birmingham. I then went on to complete a Personal Training course to develop my skills in rehabilitation and exercise prescription which has served me well in my more recent job role as Rehab Instructor for the NHS. I have experience with many injuries and conditions and my main passion lies with getting people moving optimally and feeling better in themselves.
As a mother of 2 young children, I know what your body goes through during pregnancy/birth and the little support you get afterwards. I struggled with back pain for a long time after my first child which led me to complete further training to become a pre and postpartum corrective exercise specialist. I rehabbed myself (without spending hours in the gym) and can now run again, which I had given up on. I am passionate about helping other mums recover from birth, reconnect to their bodies and get back to the things they enjoyed doing pre-baby. I enjoy being active and attend Park Run's on the weekends, as well as family bike rides and baking.
